Stop Reviewing It

If you cant play it, then you can not possibly give a review. If you cant play, you dont know the quality of game, and therefore, people like "Raikiku" (The guy under me) should:
1. Be smart enough to know that u can not take a video off of Newgrounds once it has been submitted, how ever it CAN be updated and a new version of the game can be posted on the site.
2. Should know that by reviewing a "zero" when the game is currently down, that you are ruining his original score for when the game was up
3. Should read the description and go to THE REPLACEMENT OF THE FREAKIN GAME!!!

Anyway, I'm just gonna make my rating an "8" since that seems to be what the average was before the game was taken down.

Great game!

I thought this was a really cool game. There are a few ways to make it better though:

I know it's called Stick War, but perhaps you could make them have a bit more detail in their bodies.
Also, with the faster moving characters the movement animation works just fine. But, with a slow mover like the mage/ wizard, the movement looks out of place. The game world should move imbetween each step, and stop moving for like, half a second while he begins his next step.
======OR======
You could make it a top down type game for the sequel (PLZ MAKE ONE!!) so that their is a bit more strategy in the game, which I think is what Yanoplathizo is complaining about.

Other than that, a great game, definitely wish to see a sequel, or some medals (PM me cuz I already have an idea for the names of some of the medals)

Although, you pretty much just took games like Kitten Cannon and Prison Escape and changed them, except combined the 2 in a way that worked. So basically, u did very lil, and took the 2 games and remade the sprites. But cool tho

But fun! I think its a great game. The first stuffed animal I ever had was a pig. I named him Piggy. And although the game is tough, his funny little oinks and determined attidude made it tough to be pissed off!

To ruinscape75: Its supposed to be just like that game, but its different. How many copies of games have you seen on Newgrounds? For instance, that one where Pico eats a bad taco? Thats a freakin Duke Nukem Knock-off!

To all who think the graphics suck: why dont u find your NES, dust it off a bit, and check out Super Mario Bros or Legend of Zelda, I assure you, this might not be X-Box 360 or PS3, but its better than NES. Why, hell, its a bit better than SNES, and a bit worse than Sega CD, but hell its cute!

It was a disgrace to the real game. The controls felt awkward, plus, in HL2, why would gordon have a nice watch and jeans while everyone else is in rag tag clothing? Plus, why wasnt gordon on the train. You should just let the people who made Portal Flash Version do this too.

Wow... more nazis & WW2...

You would think that after the major take off of COD4 Modern Warfare's sequal, Modern Warfare 2, we would see some less WW2. But nope. It's still all about MG42's and M1 Garands. I mean really. Its starting to get kinda tiring. The Conduit got an award before it came out pretty much because it didnt have to do with WW2! I mean really! Battallion Wars, BWii, CoD4, The Conduit, The Half Life series and Halo are all great games cuz they dont have to do w/ WW2, or any existing war! I mean really! I know pretty much nothing about WW1, so how bout making games for stuff like that! Or the Revolution! Or even VIETNAM!!?! I mean really! A game where you run through the forests of vietnam would be great! Especially if you could climb the trees and maybe hop through them (No, not like Naruto you dorks). I mean, running through the forests would make for great stealth missions, plus it would have lots of easy cover, beautiful scenery, not to mention for a vehicle mission u could drop the cancerous napalm bombs over ur enemies. And, for once, YOUR TEAM DOESNT WIN THE FINAL BATTLE!

Anyway, getting back on track, here's your rating:

Pros:
FPS is very rare in Flash Games, especially good ones
Entertaining
Good damage system (As in a shot in the chest does more damage than a shot to the arm)
Decent graphics
Okay physics

Cons:
Weapon names were wrong (Corrections under the final rating)
Gun physics didnt quite match the guns you were trying to match them to (As in the M1911 Browning was at full fire rate from the beginning when it really should have been more like somewhat slow at the beginning at then rapidly increases in speed)
Not very original

3.0 Pretty Good, but not 2 new/interesting cuz people are tired of WW2.

M1A1 Thompson is really just Thompson or "Tommy Gun"
M1 Browning is really M1911 Browning
Bazooka would be more properly known as an M1A Bazooka

Good game!

The best way to improve it is to make it a tiny, tiny bit easier, I reccomend making the ultra sensitive collision check slightly less sensitive; then add medals. Newgrounders are eager for medals, as the increase of games with medals has been going down lately, not to mention for a challenging but short game like this one you probably would be able to get a few challenges out of it. I'd make them about 50-100 points each.
